Cookie preferences

JPBS uses strictly necessary session cookies so you can stay signed in for manuscript submission, peer review and the editorial desk. Those cookies come from the authentication service. They cannot be turned off while you use a signed-in workspace.

The journal does not set analytics, advertising or social-tracking cookies. A cookie-preferences control that offered those categories would be dishonest.

Browser controls

You may remove stored cookies through your browser. Removing an active authentication cookie signs the account out and may interrupt an unsaved workflow. The site does not use a consent banner to imply that optional tracking categories exist when they do not.

Changes

If analytics or another optional cookie category is introduced, this policy and the preference control must be updated before that technology is enabled.
